Il Parco della Rimembranza, posto lungo la Via Appia nella parte alta del paese, è di dimensioni piuttosto ridotte, con panchine ed aree verdi.
E’ stato costruito in memoria e ricordo dei soldati muresi che persero la vita durante la Grande Guerra. Nonostante ciò, il monumento dei caduti ad opera dello scultore napoletano Saverio Gatti, non è mai stato collocato nel Parco.
Solo successivamente venne inaugurato, il 10 Giugno 1923, in Piazza Don Minzoni, alla presenza del filosofo e senatore Benedetto Croce. 

The “Parco della Rimembranza” (literally: “Remembrance Park”), located down the Via Appia in the high part of the town, is quite small, and has benches and green areas in it. It was built in memory of the soldiers from Muro Lucano who lost their lives during the Great War. However, the war memorial made by the Neapolitan sculptor Saverio Gatti was never placed in the Park. It was exposed only later, on the 10th of June 1923, in Piazza Don Minzoni, in the presence of the philosopher and senator Benedetto Croce.
